Don’t be left in the dark! Sixth graders, energize your summer!
LaGrange County REMC will provide two sixth graders with a three-day camp experience at Happy Hollow Children’s Camp in Nashville, Indiana.
This camp experience was designed to help 6th grade students learn about electrification, electric safety, and teach them about the cooperative business principle. Students will be able to enhance their learning by participating in a fun and powerful program that includes a variety of activities designed to deliver the cooperative message with a powerful program.
This dynamic three-day camp includes the following activities:
- Electricity generation and transmission education
- Summer camp cabin experience
- Rock climbing and zip lining
- Archery
- Alternative energy education
- Horseback riding
- Live line safety demonstration
- Swimming
