Welcome to LaGrange County Rural Electric Membership Corporation’s website. We value our customers and take your privacy seriously. In order to make you feel comfortable and secure in our online service center (“Site”), LaGrange County REMC (the “Company,” “Us,” and “We”) has taken many precautions to guard your privacy and personal information. - What personal information is being collected?
Any personally identifiable information collected on this Site is provided by you voluntarily in order to make products and services available to you and to maintain and manage our relationship with you. We will only collect, use and store information for core business purposes. Such information may include, but is not limited to, your name, address, e-mail address, and payment information. The Company does from time to time send out bulk e-mails. Each one contains an “opt out” provision and we maintain a list of users who opt out. You may “opt out” from receiving the bulk e-mails at any time. Our ability to successfully serve you as our customer is dependent on maintaining accurate information. Company uses an outside company for credit card processing--it processes credit card payments for the electricity, goods, or services purchased. Company does not voluntarily share or provide information to law enforcement agencies. However, Company reserves the right to disclose your personally identifiable information, and any other information collected when required by law. Company will cooperate with investigations conducted by law enforcement agencies, provided that the law enforcement agency must provide evidence to support the need to receive the information requested in accordance with applicable law.
In addition, Company reserves the right to disclose your personally identifiable information when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with a discovery request in a judicial proceeding (civil or criminal), subpoena, court order, agency order, or any other legal request compelling disclosure that is served on the Company in accordance with applicable law.

Personal information that customers (or prospective customers) offer to the Company is collected by the Company and used to provide electricity, goods, and services to our customers. We do not collect, store, or maintain other personally identifiable information about our customers.

The bill pay portion of our Site also uses a cookie to remember username information.

By using the Site, you stipulate and agree to exclusive and continuing venue for any such action will be in the federal or state courts located in Allen County, Indiana.
